Name: Jane Sybil Seelix-Tyrol
Age: 18
Family: Daughter of Galen and Diana Seelix-Tyrol, half-sister of Nicholas Tyrol.
Other relationships: Girlfriend of Eddie Costanza, friends with the other members of the Galactica Pack.
Profile: There's always been something about Mary Jane. Raised between the Deckhands and the Viper Jocks, she's always felt something of a pull toward something different, something unique. She's certainly Daddy's little girl, and while she and her mother have their strained moments (usually over her refusal to follow in Diana's footsteps and join the ROTC to become a pilot), they are very close as well. She adores her big brother, often spending time with him and their father on the hangar deck. Her relationship with Eddie is well established and comfortable, but by no means lacking emotional depth; he is both her rock and her doorway to the chaotic fun of being a teenager on Galactica, and she loves every moment spent with him.

Since most of her friends are busy with the ROTC, Jane spends her free time volunteering with the civilian population. She has built up quite the reputation for being a humanitarian, and even received some nudges toward an internship within the Office of the President, which she has started to consider more seriously (to the disappointment of her mother, who still holds out hopes of another pilot coming from the family).

In addition, as her journal name says, Jane is going to follow in her grandmother's footsteps to become an Oracle. Since there isn't a whole lot known about how one becomes an Oracle, I'm gonna play it as a natural ability that is then honed through training. I'm gonna work up to the "OMG she's an Oracle!" moment, so for now, she's just starting to have weird dreams.
